Similar to the Mersin region, we also have a lot of experience handling project cargoes in the Iskenderun region.

In the past we have handled through these two ports several turn key projects to Iraq, such as cement and aluminium plants as well as the Baghdad International Airport and the Baiji refinery.

The port of Iskenderun is not normally served by any regular lines. After the Gulf War in 1990 Iskenderun lost its importance especially for transit transport to Iraq and Iran. But due to the Isdemir steel plant and other steel industries in the Iskenderun bay, there are now a number of active private steel jetties where Steinweg - OTS can be of service.

Steinweg - OTS is also active in the shipping agency business for tankers calling at the BTC petroleum terminal in Ceyhan.
