Genoa Metal Terminal Srl. (GMT) has been established in 1992 by C. Steinweg - Handelsveem B.V. and the Bartalini Family. The latter is a company active in forwarding services in Genoa since 1930. GMT is a full member of the C. Steinweg Group and its worldwide network of logistics companies serving in particular the commodities industry in the best possible way.

GMT has its head-office in Genoa with branch offices in Trieste, Livorno, Salerno, Ravenna and Koper (Slovenia). Furthermore GMT has representative offices in all the other major Italian ports.

The organization operates at the Adria terminal covering a total area of 70.000m_² of which 25.000m_² is covered warehouse space. All is LME approved and there are two direct railway connections. GMT has its own modern equipment that enables the organization to deal almost every cargo.
