The most famous Generative AI tool is ChatGPT, from the company OpenAI. Some of you might already use ChatGPT for work-related purposes as well. Whether it’s brainstorming ideas, drafting content, analyzing data, or even generating creative solutions, ChatGPT can be a game-changer. But here’s the catch: using a free account is not the safest option for your work-related tasks, because all the data that you put in (like customer data or person-related data), will eventually be shared publicly on the internet. Microsoft Copilot

Next to OpenAI, there are more companies creating Generative AI-solution. Microsoft launched Copilot as their super-smart AI-assistant to assist with tasks like summarizing long documents, creating presentations, analyzing data, or even drafting emails. There is a free version that you can enable in Microsoft Teams by adding a new app (Copilot) on the left pane. It’s also available in your Edge browser and http://copilot.cloud.microsoft. The paid (“pro”) version seamlessly integrates with your favorite Microsoft tools like Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Teams and also has access to all your files in SharePoint and OneDrive.

Users without a Copilot Pro license can still leverage basic functionalities, like summarizing texts or creating images. T The primary advantage of utilizing Copilot over ChatGPT is the assurance of secure and confidential input when logged in with your Steinweg email address and password. This security feature is indicated by the activation of the green icon, as demonstrated above. Always make sure if the green (safety) icon is enabled. If not, all your input will be shared publicaly on the internet.
