Key tasks & responsibilities
Our Pricing team is seeking a Senior Estimator/QC to manage and control the logistics pricing processes in accordance with business and stakeholder requirements.
Job Summary
- Attend to internal & external client requests for rates & quotations
- Maintain & build on relationships with internal & external service providers
- Ensure that estimates, tenders are submitted within the stipulated timelines
- Ensure accuracy with respect to all estimates submitted
- Ensure that pricing submitted is consistent with the scope of services requested
- Quality Checking and Approval of Estimates
- Providing Support to Internal Departments
- Resolving of Queries
Qualifications
- Matric – Grade 12.
- Relevant Degree / Diploma
Experience
- +5 years of Pricing Experience (Sea freight Import / Export / Cross Trades / Breakbulk – Transport Local / Over Border).
- Proficiency in Incoterms.
- Sound knowledge of Sea freight and Road freight processes.
- Able to Supervise and Quality Check Estimates.
- CargoWise One experience is advantageous.

- Computer literacy in MS Office Suite.
