Thanks to Baltimore’s unique inland position the port has become an important distribution center for forestry products as importers and retailers enjoy significant economies on inland transportation and distribution costs to one of the most densely populated regions in the country.

Steinweg in Baltimore have the facilities and equipment to handle dimensional lumber, plywood, OSB molding and veneers, arriving by vessel, (at our own marine terminal), container or rail car for either inside or outdoor storage.

The terminal is served by CSX railroad and is within 1 mile of interstate I-95 and I-70
