National Unrest Update – C. Steinweg Bridge Terminals, 15 July 2021

Due to the extraordinary levels of civil unrest across Durban & Johannesburg over the past few days, we made the decision to close operations in an effort to protect staff, assets and clients cargo.

The situation seems to have settled down within the last couple of hours and the gathering of mass crowds have subsided; however, much debris is still obstructing access to and from several key areas.

Currently, none of our operations have been impacted and remain clear of any major incidents.

We will be evaluating operations and surrounding areas this morning and will revert during the course of the day with an update should we be able to re-open operations.

We remain committed to opening operations as soon as safe to do so; however we will not compromise the safety of our staff, assets and clients cargo.

Should you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to one of the team members.

Yours Sincerely,

The C. Steinweg Bridge Terminals Team
