Nacala Logistics informed the public that the railway sections from Nacala Port, passing through Liwonde to Tete, have now been restored, and normal train circulation resumed over the weekend.

Recovery works to the railway line between Nkaya & Limbe are still ongoing.

Nacala Logistics has decided to centralize freight operations at Liwonde station while they continue to recover the Nkaya – Limbe railway section.
